Hello fellas,
About to price 170m 1500x750 10mm porc on anhydrate screed, big areas.
Initial laitenance removed, will use Kerakol primer and bio addy.
Also about 100m of 300x300 in smaller rooms.
The job is in one of the most expensive roads in one of the most expensive areas of south bucks, and is for a customer who owns a very large commercial construction company, so knows his stuff and will expect top rate finish.
Got a number or two in mind, and expect to make proper money from it.
Your thoughts?

Sorry to hijack thread. Radio 4 today some industry expert said that Carrilion were so big, they couldn't make a profit so by not paying their contractors for SO long, their cash flow was artificially inflated allowing them to cook the books and appear financially sound.
The interviewer quite quickly shut him down on this point though.
Makes you wonder how many other major players are doing the same...

Thanks for the replys, have the data sheet for the screed, and am having first site meeting today, have made the customer aware of the importance of following the spec to the letter.
Very impressed with Kerakol Bio gel and have spoke to their rep and tech people about anhydrate screed prep.
Their solution is quite simple with usual sanding, dust removal and two coats of their "A" primer, effectively creating a barrier to which the bio gel fixes. Max 8m linear tile runs before expansion joints, and expansion joints through thresholds. Was planning on using a clip system for a bit of overkill too, a 15mm trowel and back buttered obviously too. On a flat screed that should cover most bases.
However, site visits usually reveal a few demons. Will hopefully pass the responsibility of moisture content/screed dryness to the customer, as still feel an accurate testing procedure or kit is hard to rely on.
Unless you guys have any cost effective solutions you rely on that you can suggest.
With that in mind, one tiler, one labourer, not including prep, including materials any thoughts on price? 40, 50 pound per metre?
