Ceramico tiling

Hi all

My m8 has a victorian tiled hallway that is very worn and tired. The colour is very faded and the surfaces of the tile are pitted and no longer flat.I am going to attemt to revive it and was wondering what the best method would be to strip it down.

Would ltp grimex or power stripper do the trick? Is there any manual method of scrubbing or sanding?
