In most cases providing they are just ceramic you may be able to use a good quality 'dry' cutter, if it's a tough tile or is something other than ceramic, maybe porcelain glazed or even fully bodies porcelain or even those such as stone and marble etc, you will probably need to use a wet disc cutter. These come as a DIY option from places such as B&Q etc but a half decent one that's a step above those used only for DIY can be found <broken links removed>
