I might be looking for a moderator or two in the coming months so would like to put the feelers out now and see who's interested to consider my options.

Moderators:-
  • mainly help members to post threads and pictures when they're stuck
  • welcome new members to the forum
  • deal with banning members after a number of warnings
  • deal with complaints and issues that may arise
  • chip in with any competitions we may be running in the future
Moderators generally run the forum ins and outs. The role changes over a time slightly, but it always basically to be helpful as a forum member first, then moderate afterwards.

The role doesn't require a certain amount of time to be put in. If moderators find their lifestyle changes and they can't get on the forum as much, we simply get another moderator or two on board. You don't need to be too committed to the forum time-wise.

Nah. Professionalism is the way I've found. We have an awesome team right now. A nice mix. We need more of the same flavour, we don't want it too spicy. ;) ;)

Any takers for moderator position?

I am really surprised no takers yet. This is a great opportunity for someone (a fair few members spring to mind) to join the team and help contribute and develop what is already a fantastic forum.

There's 2 in a thread of 40 posts long.
If you get yourself in the Arms there isn't any.
