Hi guys apologies if its posted in the wrong forum,
I'm after a bit of advice i'm in the process of opening conservatory up into new kitchen/diner & having same tiles right through, the conservatory has got an existing ceramic tiled floor, which is slightly lower than kitchen/diner, the question is can i self level over existing tiles then tile whole area or is it best to lift old tiles & go from there. I would be getting a tiler in to tile i'm just weighing up my best approach. The new tiles to be laid will be porcelain. Thanks

If the old tiles are sound then prime with a mechanical grip primer like rocatex ultimate grip primer, mapei eco prim grip(others available) then self level and tile

Have you got a tiler booked in?
You could look on the forums members in your area - no guarantee - but at least you can check them out.
