Im interested to know how you proffesional tilers do these cuts.This method looks so much simpler than the method i was shown.

No mater what odd angle you have this tool transfers it across on to the tile to be cut

I don't have one so can't comment but I don't see why you couldn't give it a go on walls?

Is this where you use the tile to the left & right of the one you want to cut,& the transfer your marks over to the tile your going to cut?

yes also helps to reverse tile put the point to the wall mark at full tile point providing your wall is square if not as you mentioned measure each side in reverse :8:

I have been doing this for years just with a piece of plaster board cut to size.

Looks like he marked his tiles with a black marker pen on travertine tiles :yikes:

Its a great way for the DIY but his comment - 'just look how much time you will save and no waste' - isn't true! He was using full tiles for small cuts which could have been taken off the waste from cuts 1 & 2.
