Following on from a previous NVQ thread
here is a useful video with some tasks that CITB Scotland ask you to complete on the day of your final apprenticeship, this might be helpful if you are doing the NVQ experienced worker route.

There is some plastering skills required too ie floor screeding to falls and basic scratch coat and rendering :thumbsup:

I am not saying any of you want to do plastering but this video might be helpful because it covers the following...

1. boarding a ceiling and duct (useful for bathroom work)
2. Dry ling (always comes in useful on rough walls)
3. Basic rendering (you need that swimming pools and sand and cement work)
4. Basic skimming (could be an extra £60 in the tilers pocket for skimming a bathroom ceiling)

The floating out at 4.55 never seen it scratched out like before for the finish....

On a second look it dos'nt even look like it's been scratched with a float, just been troweled on and left....
