Bosch GSL 2 in operation, single line means perfectly level, if the lines open up, your floor has a rise or fall in it.

Instant visual check on how good your floor is, and clients don't even need to know anything about construction, just be able to know the difference between 1 or 2 lines.

A target indicates the direction of deviation from level.

Two speed sweep of the area, seriously couldn't be easier.

Simple but very useful.

Once rest of mat is down, that's gonna be one flat and level floor!

So how did you end up cutting the tiles around the units?
Haven't got there yet Paul, only started laying today, but what do you mean exactly mate?
This is that failed anhydride, so we're reinstating a new floor. Changing from
900 x 900's to 1800 x 900's

Ahhhhhh right doh! Haha
I'm sure you're right Andy.
Didn't need to, once the floor started coming up, there was no stopping it. One or two tough bits, but nothing that requires a hammer and bolster, just a good swift prod with a floor scraper.
There were even a few stuck down with what looked like Bal's S2 superflex or whatever it's called these days. That black sticky crap. :D

What's with the lattice effect? Combed one direction on floor and opposite direction on the tile ?
Yes looked like it Andy, Delia Smith would have killed for a pattern like that on her Apple Pies! :p
Couldn't understand it, the bed varied from minimal to 11mm it was madness.
The floor was as flat and level as a snooker table! :)
