I'm in the process of doing a small job using Hardie backer board for the walls. I've tried to use Hardie's own brand of joint tape, but I'm finding that the tape has very little adhesion and is almost coming off the wall at the slightest touch, particularly in the corner joints.

I'm a bit reluctant to buy more of this in case its has the same problem, so I wanted to ask if anyone could recommend an alternative brand that has more adhesion.

You can use polyethylene membrane 5 inch cut and tile adhesive on the walls or Schluter Kerdi Coll sealant
See pictures, it is polyethylene membrane and Schluter Kerdi Coll
