Hi Gents I am embarking on similar project (and apols on partial hijack). Tiling 30sqm double garage with 8mm x 330 x 330 porcelain on a concrete substrate that's level on the whole but not 100% flat throughout. Low spots max 5-7mm out so looking to use the Tilemaster Thick bed adhesive to overfill the low spots. Probably back butter to be sure leave no gaps. Don't really want to lay a self leveller as floor is not that bad.

Anything else I need to consider here ?

Cheers

You'll find it much easier to achieve a solid bed, which is what you need, by using a self leveller.
