Thanks, it looked like wood was a little thicker and had been used alot so loads of cuts in it, looked like cork board or something.Piece of plasterboard on a pop up table is as good as anything
Thanks very much, will try get some off cuts.Any sacrificial surface will be fine, as Andy said.
Carpet
PB
Polystyrene
Celotex
Plywood
Anything that has enough depth to prevent you cutting your permanent table.
What concerns me Jerry, is that I believe youI like to use customers kitchen worktop , also saves carry any trestles ,
Why wouldn't, I left out that you should try and cut over the same place all the time as the laminate can prematurely wear your blade , so best to have just one grooveWhat concerns me Jerry, is that I believe you
Used the thigh method 3 times nowI've used the thigh method in the past. That ATS blade just went straight into my leg. It didn't hurt but I won't be doing it again.
I find that the customers lawn works best or if there is a grass verge outside their house. No vibration transferred to tile and less chance of breakage.
I have offcuts of floor board I could use would that do?
Don't want to effect the blade but if it can cut porcelain then wouldn't think too much of going through a few mm of wood.
