Just out of interest , what could I have done to not have bottom left debacle? Just not have a border? Really bugging me!!

Time's Ran Out

1. Brought the right hand in to match.
2. Use a smaller 96mm tile inside and add to the border.
3. Run the left side straight into the brick pillar.
4. Don't change the chequerboard design on the top step.
5. Keep the same size border at the gate front.
6. Tell your wife who is the boss!

Just a few options
