3 days in it, and yes its got me thinking... I might just start taking the p#ss actually, and see what happens

hahaha its actually taught me something this....priced a job up only today and remembered this thread and thought what the hell, go on then ill give him a mtre price. 20sqm planks on a nice flat floor, said £30pm, guy said "when can you start"

I got to price this tonight - 60ish sqm over 3 rooms. Concrete floor.
Fix Insulation boards
Install approx 50sqm electric ufh (3 zones)
Smoothing compound
Fix 1600x210x10mm porcelain planks (no silly herringbone)
Expansion joints at threshholds.

Supply and fix.

That sounds rather expensive

I had a call this morning from the builder who's updated me, they have had some one in who does commercial tiling, apparently he's made a nice job of it, he charged them £800 labour, and he started at 1o clock on Saturday and was done for 3 on Sunday.there moaning about how much he has earnt, he must have cracked on big time
