Hi there,
I have some white marble mosaic to fix and I know from experience it will yellow when it gets wet. Is there some way to prevent this? Obviously I can seal the face but the back will absorb water from the adhesive.
Thanks.

Marble is a natural stone obviously so the tile will change colour once it’s laid and gone off. There is nothing more you can do apart from seal them before you lay them.

never heard of yellowing before got any photos ? Like I said its a highly porous stone so new colours coming through is natural.

Water acids and bleach cause the oxidisation of the iron in the marble. So how does one seal marble from these in a shower! It does seem pretty inevitable.
