Just a general question of when/where to use Ditra-mat. For example, I believe that it would be used on a bathroom floor which was an extension and had been screened.

Would you need to use ditra mat if you was also tiling the floor outside of the bathroom eg, a hallway or kitchen?

Any further input would be good. Thanks for your help.

If you go to Schluters web site (.co.uk) as a professional you can sign up to their product training course for free.
You travel up day before, they provide accom with premier Inn and the course lasts one day and is as much practical as it is theory.
well worth the effort.
