Walked into our condo in Orange Beach Alabama and found two tiles popped loose from the floor and raised as if they had been pushed together to form a tent. What would cause this?

As above or have two different substrates (subfloor) been tiled over as if one?

Do you know who tiled it how long they've been down etc?

As well as a pic of the tiles lifting can we get a shot of your view?!?!

If the installation of the tile is very old, it could be trapped moisture or water. Otherwise, if newly installed, the installation could be subpar.

Tenting occurs due to expansion. It's likely that the tiles along the outer edges are cut too close to the walls, leaving no space for expansion across the main tiling area. Adjusting the spacing can prevent this issue.
