After using this quite a lot recently, this is the best thing I have bought all year (GS86 second place)

Slightly different but being shown how to fasten my Alpro knee pads properly is the best thing toolwise for me this year....... I still can't believe the difference it makes.

I've always worn knee pad inserts in my trousers... Much difference between them do you know?

I have tried knee inserts but because of half grown legs, they are more like shin pads than knee pads.

The Alpros are very good - not cheap (£60 - £75) but worth it IMO.

I found the Alpros rubbed and I had blood draw after a 2 hours with them and if I put shorts on blood after 10 mins.

have I done the straps wrong? @Tom Astley

Don't know but I now wrap the strap so it is 1 1/2 times around the knee pad. The strap should cover the lower hollow part of the kneepad. The fit so much better and they do not ride up and down yer trouser legs.

I used to just wrap it around the back of my leg.
