Ok gents, suggestions for best way to merge these two floors together. 610x610x20mm tumbled travertine supplied by Mandarin stone. Discontinued, no spares! Customer took down a partition wall thinking easy to get spares, to the left 30 square metres, to the right 40 square metres. Money not really an object, and been given free hand to sort this out. Customer quite open to solutions but not really wanting to rip out any tiles if possible. The length of wall taken down runs wall to wall 4 metres.
Forgot to say there is heated wire kits under both floors
Can you remove the doorway section and put a strip complementing/contrasting what's there?
Is it still going to be 2 separate areas?
Yes any material, colour etc contemporary anything!
If the floor is nice and flat, over-fix with Porcelthin.
Whatever you do otherwise it's always going to stand out.
Stone must stay, no going over
To the left leads into a kitchen to the right was the formal dining room

I could (probably) mix up a base colour with a few large tins of straw Tenax and then get my artist's brushes out to do a bit of a Michelangelo....
Being travertine, it's not like you could even prize a few up from somewhere else in the rooms.
If you know what travertine it is I expect somebody will still do it . Then refinish it to the finish you have .

The chance of the shade and veining being even remotely close is next to nil!
I suggested taking doorway piece away, straighten and manufacture edge again and fill with matching pebble mosaic, said I was boring and to think outside the box!

But we are dealing with somebody who wishes not to change their floor and although it will show it can probably got to a close colour with things like colour intensifiers or coloured waxes
Nick KateJ's idea....

It will 100% stand out like a sore thumb no matter how hard you try.
Might as well go for full-on feature strip.
Get something like this made:
Bubbles in water encased in glass, strong enough to walk on...
