Just got to see this thread guys, I'm really pleased to see that he's recognized on this forum, he was one of the musical greats and a musical hero of mine, there was no other band like Japan or has been ever since, and Mick was unique, a sad loss to the music industry. There's a Facebook page for tributes if anyone wants to post up, it's called Mick Karn Rest in peace 1958-2011.
