Ceramico tiling

have any of you guys converted a bricklayers trowel to a notched tiling/bucket trowel? used to butter the tile insted of the wall!

yes but the front is flat so as to easily scrape adhesive from floor of bucket,and more trianular ,and use a good briklayers trowel with a longish handle,,As I have done this to ordinary bucket trowels and just find the longer more shapely ones converted from brick laying trowels are more effective.
