It helps support the trim too, so it would take some convincing for me to change personally.

If you leave the trim proud of the tiles and someone cuts there hand you will be in big trouble and metal trim is deadly.

Good point deanotile, :thumbsup: but I said a tight fit. However, I shall bear that in mind in future and finely round off edges just to make sure.

WRONG? Something is only wrong when it fails to work. The rest is esthetics.
