Went to my local Homebase for a grass rake and came out with a Ryobi petrol leaf blower/vac and a Ryobi orbital sander.

Closing down 60% off all power tools!

Do you rent your tools from Hilti?
No I think u need to have a fleet to have them manage ur tools I just buy stuff as and when I can afford it I have a fair few tools from the hilt 22a range so buying the bare unit made sense seeing as I have about 8 batteries and a handful of chargers

I worked with some carpenters that rented from them, seemed like a quality service.
If tools broke they were replaced next day, same if they were stolen apparently.

Was thinking this might be the answer as and when I need to replace anything in the future, especially with the thefts from tradesmen at the moment.

All.tools have 2 year replacement warranty and then I think im getting this rite for one third of the bare units value they will repair it for life

Similar to Festool then, if stolen whilst in warranty, 3 years, they will replace for a small fee, I think it was £150. But that was for over £1400 of tools.
