Discuss Hardiebacker under Insulation boards? in the Tiling on Underfloor Heating area at TilersForums.com.

I’m using the hardie backer board on ply, then laying a foam core insulation with the ufh mats on top. A builder said the mats can sit in adhesive but I’m going to cover with a Mapei flexible self-leveller, and then tile onto that. Hope that helps.
