ouch! dont fancy getting up there to repair it in these conditions

I had the same thing happen to me when a ridge tile blew off and hit my car years ago, car insurance said claim on house insurance and vice versa. It wasn't worth my ncb in the end a damage wasn't bad.

its just a section above the bathroom but even so,needs repairing.home insurance could be the answer, its high up there.van seems ok.must have been some gust though as its ripped 3 brackets out with it

Heavy rain, half and fully blocked drains etc can all help it come down too.
I was working on a new build today tiling the sunroom and the rain hitting the roof glass was scary.lol.

Is it worth claiming for a bit of guttering? Your premiums will go up and you'll have an excess to pay. Get your ladders out when the wind drops lol.

I can't sleep through the winds here. My house sounds like it is taking off :(

Forecast said for winds to get less here but this morning it seems worse than ever . Neighbours fence has gone missing 3 times in the last few days.
