ok the tuff form former is in and im now looking at tanking

so is this the right order for fitting
dural ci++(using this because of in screed heating) on floor then tape joint
then corners peices and joint from floor to wall with tape
then durabase wp to walls
do i need to tape the joints on the walls or just over lap ?
also what will i need to stick it down to floors and walls
and does it need primer on new screed and plaster

Hi Simon, I would use Mapei Keraquick and Latex plus on the floor to fix the Dural ci mat, what is the substrate on the walls? also what type of tiles are you thinking of using? Mapei is just my preferred adhesive, others may not agree.

Not sure on floor tiles yet but wife wants mosaic
She has chosen large ceramic for walls
Which is new plaster

Hi Simon, skimmed plaster will only take 20kg per m2, just check the weight of your tiles.

Same question different thread. I believe the Tuff Form is designed for a liquid membrane like Mapei's Aqua Defence or Mapegum WPS. A sheet membrane will buckle and wrinkle if clamped into a dish shape.

Perhaps your drain connection is different from mine here in Vancouver.
