I've got a job roughly 70 sqm it's on new 22mm ply with wet underfloor heating it's all solid and level I'm just concerned about cracking due to the expansion and contractions can u use ditra over underfloor heating on ply I know u can use the tile master mat and the bal rapid mat
Any tips and advice would be much appreciated

should have an expansion joint too

The 70 meter area consists of 40 meter kitchen 20 meter utility room and 10 meter downstairs shower room do u still think I need a expansion joint ?

Would u use a rubber type expansion joint ? I've seen dural make a kinda silicone u can use as a expansion I've just bin reading the literature

yeah, i used that for the first time a few weeks ago. It's an 2 part colour coded epoxy. I used it on trav as it gives more protection to the edge but if porc i'd use silicone or preformed as quicker and cheaper.

It's gonna be grouted with ultra colour plus in mid grey so they make make matching silicone so I'll go with that as they are porcelain tile 600x600 stone effect
