Recently bought a 1930s terrace and lifted laminate to discover quarry tiles. Reading other threads it seems covering them might be harder than first thought, and the cardboard style underlay I lifted did show some signs of damp.

Is there any way I can safely re-lay laminate? Do I screed? Seal the tiles? Or need to lift the entire floor?
