surely the skim would react?

If the cement is cured , then no reaction by skimming to render but adding cement based to gypsum background is where ettrignite can form .

I Still use acrylic primer and cement based adhesive method... And I also uncouple all anhydrite floors I tile , call it over kill but I like to work that way..

still yet to use a gypsum adhesive .

A builder i sub too won't let me try it..lol.. He hates it when I suggest new products ... Soooooo maybe in 10yrs he might :lol:

Why is it wrong , if it is , how did we tile them before gypsum adhesives... Lol lol :lol:


oh oh and yes a D2 Dispersion is fine in a shower ...

It was when there was rubber pipes conected to the bath taps and a dribble of water came out, now it's gallons with super duper pumps.
