Hi there,

I am looking into buying a wetroom and have looked into ccl and sharp products by wetroommaterials. I see now there are all types of membranes and systems and as an amatuer I don't want to buy the wrong thing.

Essentially we want a 1.8m long area with screen to ceiling that will sit in the middle of our room against a wall. Toilet will be to the left of this area and bath to the right. It's upstairs and I assume on floorboards. Like picture attached maybe but to the ceiling with glass.

In regards picking a system what would you recommend please? Any idea of rough cost to get what's pictured installed?

Thanks

Are you fitting it yourself? If not, I'd recommend finding a local installer and using whichever system they fit. There are loads of systems but it's the fitter that's key.

I'm not really qualified to comment on CCL (or much at all tbh :)), but it looks good. Others on here will know a lot more than I. For comparison it might be worth contacting a few manufacturers, such as Impey, Schluter (just examples), ask for details of an accredited local installer and obtain quotes. The problem is that it's fairly simple for any chancer to obtain the materials and blag you into thinking they know what they're doing.
