Tile Cleaning Block - Tile Advice

My Rubi Diamond blade is no longer cutting and becomes very hot, but there is plenty of diamond surface remaining.
Are cleaning blocks effective for revitalising diamond cutters?

You could try a sandy brick .

They are known as dressing blocks.

Like Neale says, try something abrasive like a concrete block or a piece of sandstone. Use minimal water , just enough to create a "toothpaste" like consistency. This then acts as an abrasive and wears the metal bond to expose new diamond.

never actually found it to be that effective although it could get you through another week while you contact ATS for a new wheel

I'm the same? I bought a Rubi one years ago & it didn't make much difference..

Stonetools sell proper blocks and they do make a difference. I found the little rubi one didn't.
If you've "blued" the blade then it may be too hardened to expose fresh diamond so a very abrasive material might work better?
