It's really accurate! You can take the tiniest bit off a trim without any problem. I wouldn't be without mine now.Now that is a lovely little saw is it super accurate?
U can use a bit of 2by1 to hold the trim down or trap.it under and just cut through the trim and wood and keep ur eyes hahaI bought the Evolution chop saw, but found the blade too coarse and was catching the edge of the trim, flicking it all over the place. Without a decent clamp it was an eye op waiting to happen.
Boxed it back up and returned it.
A pal of mine uses his all the time and loves it, and for now still has sight out of both eyes.
I'll stick with the Quansol.
I've just got a proxxon g85 I think it's calls that has a built in clampTo be fair, if I sorted a jig to hold the trims it would work fine. My first and second attempt at cutting both nearly ended in an A+E appointment, so was put to rest as a bad idea, and told myself not to be so lazy.
