I'm about to tile my bathroom with 60x60 9mm porcelain on the floor and 30x60 9mm porcelain on the walls:-

Floor is 22mm NoMorePly to be primed with NMP primer.
Shower area is Jackoboard with joints taped with Jackoboard sealing tape and to be waterproofed with Mapei Aquadefense
Walls are new plaster

Two questions:-

1. What adhesive?
I don't wan't anything rapid set, and if one product is good for all then so much the better.
From a browse here I was thinking Tilemaster Ultimate S2 or Ardex X7?
2. Should I PVA the new plaster walls or prime with something else?

I would steer clear of Tilemaster Ultimate, it’s rapid setting and you really need to work cleanly.
I would use Tilemaster Standard Setaflex S1.
Prime with Tilemaster Primeplus.

Although check the weight of your wall tiles as 600 x 300 porcelain might be over the weight limits of skimmed walls. :)

I'll third that, standard setaflex white for me. The weight limit recommendation for plaster skim is 20kg per m. You will be slightly over that I think but personally I wouldn't worry, unless you want to over board the plaster with jacko board and use fixings, you can do that.

Depending where you are in Hampshire I would use isomat ak20 or 22 as I haven't used anything that handles like it .
