Gonna see wot all the fuss is about and have a serious look for a medium sized Sigma. I've gotta go for a max series cutters, as I really don't think I could handle a pull type.
Does the klick klock handle make a lot of difference??
looking at the 3B2M max?
Wot do you hardened Sigma users think?
is it hard to see the marking on your tile with the center bar??
Its a bit awkward to start with but you won't be long getting a grip of it.
I used Rubi for years & was a bit dubious about the Sigmas but they are far superior cutters to what I've used before.
You won't be disappointed.
I bought 2 max cutters & they are superb.
Must admit, I prefer the pull handle, I do have the max handle on my 3E
I struggle with a push handle on my Max.
I have a max on a 600mm and a 900 and 500 with the Klick Klock, I find the KK works better on the 900 cutter....
Whats the klick klock handle mark as im looking at buying the 3p2m for tiles 1m long
I struggle with a push handle on my Max.
Why?
Wot did you have before Sigma?

I tend push towards the measuring bar rather than away
I got a montolit that pushes towards the bar just wasnt sure what the difference is between the max and the kk
Not sure about pushing AWAY from the measure bar bit.
Why?

I have been using pull Sigmas since 2001.
But, if Dave at Trade Tiler was to up his offer from 5% to 10%........maybe I could be persuaded.
Do you Sigma lot not struggle with the pull cutters?.......surely when pulling towards yourself, you naturally lift the wheel up a bit.......at least when pushing away from your body, the tendency is to push down at the same time?
It makes sense to me anyway.

I could'nt get on the with a pull cutter thats why I push to the measuring bar...
The best thing to do is try a couple of handles if you can. I do know that a lot of the tillers who can master the pull handle wouldn't swap it for anything. Think the pull handle is best suited to 700 and smaller. Wouldn't want to pull back on a 128cm cutter or 151cm. The good thing is you can swap the handles to suit without having to fork out for a new cutter.
