Took these pics a month or-so ago and forgot to put them on........
The slate is 3-4 mm thick, taken from the roof of an old coal shed. It's fixed on top of 6 mm nailed ply. There's not one tile cracked or loose and he did it himself with the same tiles in the other two bathrooms in the house. It must have stayed down by the grace of god as the guy is a minister.....

Fired earth chipped edge silver blue were just the same as roof tiles without the holes are they still about the tiles that is not sure I would have Laid them like that having trouble using her iPad fingers to big lo

I saw the Fired Earth ones laid a few months ago and they aren't much different from roof tiles apart from the price I assume.

It brings images of Victorian washhouses to mind... strict and austere and dark and joyless, I don't know, somehow it gives me the creeps...
