Hi I recently had indian sandstone laid by a gardener and they used a dry mix grout, Rompox, which unfortunately did not set whatsoever. I know nothing about landscaping, but from looking at the instructions it looks as though everything was done correct - paving was pre-wet, grout brushed in with excess brushed off. It didnt rain and after2 or 3 days it still has not set.

So I am going to have to get it removed and get him to put new grout in, but what would you reccommend. The local landscaping place that sells stone, sells Geofix, which we were thinking of using - is this any good and how dark is the darkest one they do (I was hoping for a dark grey / black, like the Rompox one).

By the way its only a small area so whatever I use needs to be available in relatively small amount.

Also will Geofix be ok if it rains during the drying process?

Lastly, if you think I should use an alternative product, is it available in Wickes / B&Q?

Any help appreciated!

Thanks.
