Porcelain on the wall and rectified pors grout 3000.
Ceramics.. bal wide joint.
Hate mm2 ....goes off to quick for my liking...and the price is ridiculous.
Not a fan of mapei...but will use it if I have too....
My local supplier sells grout 3000 and granfix

Ooh don't like granfix grout .
This was mm2 today it doesn't have a long pot life but you can apply it then wash it off literally a couple of mins later. Some times with tilemaster you can be waiting half hour or more before it's ready to wash off. The palace stuff was really nice to use although I'm not sure how good it actually is
I have used palace grout in the past ( years ago) haven't been called back yet .
Used to like Norcross but no one sells it up here now. Did like the Butech stuff that Porcelanosa supplied with a 200 metre job.
Who remembers bal super grout ?
It came ready mixed in a tub.
And was made by the devil himself !!

Sorry got confused haven't used granfix for a long time its ultra I don't like
I quite often get Ultra grout supplied on jobs and quite like it actually! seems very similar to Grout3000
I started having trouble with Mapei ucp grey 112 drying different shades and white 100 drying greyish and all colours very sandy finish and slides off grout float.Switched to BAL mm2 but drys too quickly and lot of wastage. Now using Weber projoint and no probs at all, nice to work with, smooth finish and drys nicely.
Sorry you have had problems with the Mapei Ultracolor Plus. Should you ever use the product again and would like for a Mapei representative to be present please let us know and we will endeavor to assist.

Ucp and kerracolour are well known for drying different shades . Often we hear things about make sure you double knock it when mixing . Shake the bag before use and the best one don't over wet which is pretty much impossible as a lot of tiles require an awful lot of cleaning to get them clean because the grout dries on the face of the tiles a lot sooner than it stiffens up in the joint .

I am regular user of UCP and over the last 10 years or so I can recollect only 2 occasions where I have had problems and they were down to grout haze caused by cold atmospheric conditions and textured glass mosaics (I was never going to win that one anyway)
So, speak as you find!
I have some glass mosaic to grout tomorrow with grout 3000, always fun
