I have been using the isomat from trimline since PCI pulled out of uk and could not get pecilastic any more for certain jobs.
pecilastic was supposed to do the same job as ditra and both being German from recognised manufacturers I had no reason to think that one would be any better than the other .
just feel ditra looks like it will do a better job.
Isomat is supposed to be the same as pecilastic and for large new builds there is certainly a saving for contractors over ditra. Neither has let me down but wondering if anyone else using isomat as well and what do you think of it.
trimline also do a waterproof version for wet areas.

Jonny I only ever use Ditra after getting caught by the product failures from Blanke mat and Dural
Well I am pretty much the same gary but when there really is an issue when 1mm isomat against 4mm ditra makes the difference on depth issue and in the right circumstance I have used .
i can buy isomat at similar price to ditra per sq mt but when I use 3mm notch with isomat against 4.5 for ditra and you also need to take in to consideration time and material to cover ditra to make like for like , on a 300 sq mt area in new build I can save contractors fair bit.
what slightly worries me is I have no idea where this isomat supplied by trimline is made .with pecilastic from PCI I had confidence.
i know you are not trimline greatest fan but wonder if anyone else using isomat.
