How to screw a plasterboard to a brick wall? - Tile Advice

Hi.

I have some plasterboards stuck to the wall. Pretty solid.

However, I need to just add maybe 4-6 screws each board into the wall to further secure.

How best do I do this? I tried a drill and screw with plug but no good.

Do I need a special type of plug or screw?

Drill and plug as you have already and use wedi style washers.

we use brick fixings and wedi washers nothing stronger in my view

Only drill through where there is dabs of dry wall adhesive are otherwise you'll drag the board in.

I would use hammer fixings. Basically a large version of a rawl plug.

Yes if done right, that provide a great fixing to the wall.
