I was going to just scrap all the paint off. hadn't thought that far lol, will that be ok?

I do plan on doing all four walls, just don't feel confident I can cut a straight edge good enough to marry up with the box trim I plan on using to separate the mosaic with the tile.

He's missed a word out.
Should be avoid small rips.
Meaning, small cuts.
With a larger tile, if you have cuts less than 25% of the length it can look out of place, and there will probably be a better way of setting it out.
I try to work to 33% and bigger, looks more balanced.

Yes by 'rips' I meant small cuts.
One feature wall would look good I bet - Give it a go an take if from there :)
