Hi guys, only done a bit of outside tiling and that was in Spain.
Got to have a look at a pathway at the weekend between customer's and neighbour's property.
Think there are tiles down at the moment, will confirm and take pics at weekend regarding substrate etc.... so will need advice then.
Would just like to ask peeps advice on choice of tile for this kind of environment.

Cheers

Just been to look at the job. Old tiles that are down are coming away and some are cracked. They've been down 20 years and stuck down with bitumen, with no grout.
Lifted a couple and the bitumen is on the rear of tiles but mostly disintergrating so should get back to the concrete which looks fine, without too much effort.
Couple of questions:
What primer would you recommend, SBR?
Large Format textured glazed porcs will be used, a jasmine grout would match perfect so planning to seal the grout to help with cleaning. Is there anything sealer wise to put on this tile to help with cleaning? I know glazed porc is nice and hardy and won't really absorb any water (or sealer) but not sure how they would clean up being textured and outside. Elderly couple so would like to treat it if possible to make their life easier.

Thankyou
