Do i need to prime walls

Hi every one this is my first post,
Just got my first paying job, i have to tile a bathroom ( new build). Do i need to prime the walls there are skimmed ( polished ) over plasterboard, customer supplying adhesive grout etc, Adhesive (bags) PCI tilefast 6 white. Thanking you in advance

Hello stephen and welcome to tilers forums..


You say the skim is polished....Rub the plaster over with a stiff brush and prime with a suitable acrylic primer....
