Hey all, Have a large floor made up of mixtures of concrete and wooden flooring. Wooden floor 18mm WBP [all correctly laid]

A question:

1. Would you run the decoupling membarane right over the area to create a single skin. For example if one area of the room is 6mtrs long by 3mtrs wide and say the area is split 50/50 length wise with wood and concrete, would you cover the hole 6 mtrs?

Sir ramac thanks for the quick response. Completely take on board your view but Let's say this is the lounge area. Not sure customer would want an expansion joint running across the middle of the floor because of the 2 different subtrates. Any thoughts?

Just a quick update Sir Ramac. Sent the drawing off to Schluter after talking to their technical desk. Must say they are very helpful will give you an update as they have mentioned things that are very interesting with regards to differing subtrates. I am sure you may already have the info but may be worth posting their response
