hi
I bought 200mm by 500mm Argenta Camargue Perla ceramic tiles and Bal Grip plus tub... to find out the Bal Grip plus isn't up to the job because of the size of the the tiles. I see from other threads there is a more 'professional look' way to lay tiles, so we are not sure how to lay them...
What adhesive should I use please, I am tiling on Knauf tile board?
I bought 3mm tile spacers would this be right size for tile and look?
Mapei ultra colour plus gout moon white....
Thank you

Hi and welcome to the forum Buffy.

First thing, that's Aquapanel yes?
It's not waterproof it needs tanking, especially with ceramics.

This is an extract from their web site.

Aquapanel Tile Backer
Knauf Aquapanel cement board is an extremely durable tile backer providing a solid substrate for wet indoor areas such as bathrooms, shower rooms and wet rooms. Resistant to mould and mildew, Aquapanel will not deteriorate in water. It retains its strength even if fully immersed.

It does not mention being waterproof.

Find out what tanking kits are available in your area, there are quite a few on the market, then you can be advised as to its effectiveness.
A number of our sponsors also sell them.

You can then also get powdered adhesive to compliment your tanking system.

Resistant, not waterproof I'm afraid, it should be tanked ideally.
