Hi everyone - well impressed with the great responses from you all. the advice is very much appreciated. I am only a DIY er and came across this site via google looking for help on my next project - tiling the kitchen floor- got some good tips. Thanks everyone.

will be a while with photos- just painting ceiling then have walls to paper - not picked the floor tiles yet. but looking for some . cant make my mind up on colour.
