Was wondering what the going rate per/m is for victorian tiling.Got 1 to look at later(hallway).Customer wants ideas on patterns,colours and price.Never done it before,know its very specialist but hey,im up for a challenge.Any advice appreciated

It's of the higher end of tiling I'd have said. Very time consuming. And they can be a pain if you mess up half way through your floor and find you're out somewhere. Like with anything there's a bit of a knack and it's all down to prep' really.

I would go in with a slightly higher day rate than normal, but plan for the job to be a lot longer than normal, or perhaps double if not tripple your meter rate, and go on meter rate.

Only done a couple of small area's personally though so speak to the guys that do it often.

Don't think I would work on a metre rate for a victorian floor. Day rate for me, and not a low one at that....very fiddly stuff IMO.
