I'm an inexperienced/novice tiler. I've only done a couple small jobs at home. I'm tiling a backsplash for my kitchen with 4x10 ceramic matte tiles. The kitchen area is "U" shaped so the lines will continue on the side walls. I just noticed that my window sill is uneven. It's about 1/2 inch off. The window itself is level. I'm concerned with breaking the granite if I try to remove it. Any suggestions?

What colour will your tiles and grout be? If nothing too contrasting then it shouldn't draw your eye to the sill being out of level, but if you went for example with a grey grout and white tile then it could make it look worse. Cheers

Thanks for your input. The tile is a taupe and we were thinking white grout to connect to the cabinets but with your suggestion I think I'll go with Mapai Sahara Beige which is what I used on the floor tiles.
