Q

quick draw macgraw

Alright Chaps,

I have my 6mm wall trowel and 10mm radius floor trowel both bensons now whats stopping me from using my wall trowel on floor applications so that it is a thinner bed therefore more consistency with matching tile heights, is it cos the addy is flexible and allows more movement in a thicker bed?

Cheers Steve.

Unless the floor is 100% flat, I wouldn't use a 6mm trowel. The lowest I use is 8mm on floors. You do need some adhesive on the floor , 6mm is too little in my opinion.

If you want to use your wall trowel then as long as its a solid bed type then no probs but a 10mm will give a better bed..........dave..
