Bathroom/bathtub walls were tiled to the ceiling and a shower screen was fitting. Tiler left with 2 deep dents on the bathtub and one is filled with silicon. He did not mention anything of this after the job and when I found out he would not admit damaging the bathtub and refused to even come have at look at his work.
Not sure what I can do now as i have paid him in full. Can I employ a third party to do a report as evidence of what was damaged and take it further? If so who should be doing this report?

And please let me know if this gap between the tile, silicon and ceiling is acceptable? Along with images of some holes in grout and chipped tiles and paint…

The chips in the tile are not acceptable and shouldn't have been put in like that. They need replacing.

Holes in the grout also not acceptable and need sorting out. Infact the grout work overall looks ropey.

The joint at the ceiling should have no grout in it. It should be a nice tidy bead of silicone.

As for the damage to the bathtub, I guess you cant prove it was the tiler if it wasn't picked up at the time. However, at the end of every job I do, I photograph things like the bathtub etc, so if there ever were a comeback, I can evidence I left it in a good state. If I hadn't done so and was sent a message to say the tub was damaged, I'd get it repaired. There are things I've done on jobs previously, because accidents happen, so I'd just tell the client and explain how I will fix it.

There are kits you can buy which are supposed to be quite good to repair that type of damage. I've not used one myself as of yet, but I understand they are pretty good. Or contact magicman.co.uk and they should be able to help you.

Cheers
