Kool, that sounds promising mate. You’re not the type to jump the gun, so the fact that you’ve mentioned it must mean you stand a good chance. Good news mate. :)

Where does the material for the sides of the niche come from? I assume ( probably wrongly..) that the back of the niche is the "hole" you cut out?
No, you’re quite correct Paul, the back is always the cut out.
The return pieces you try and match from various Off cuts, sometimes you have to think outside the box when actually seeing the connection.

In this instance, the back shower wall is the cut out from the main wall, and the back of the niche is the cut out from the shower wall.
Break one, break them all! :D

This was a project I was invited on to by @jonnyc sometime ago now, but finally I’ve managed to get some photos of it almost complete. There were issues with the vanity units and they’re still waiting on them.

All the floors were done by Johnny’s guys, and I must say, they were laid perfectly.

I’ve not featured them as that’s for Johnny when he’s ready.

They’re Flaviker 2400 x 1200 x 8mm.

Installed by myself and @Mark Frost

This is one of four rooms we completed.

Ever tried explaining this ^ to a designer?!
They swan around in Porsches and make many times what we do, yet they simply cannot understand what you mean when you explain why you need another tile!:rolleyes:

It’s a thankless task at the best of times Mark. I’m actually going thro something very similar at the moment. Very few actually grasp the complexity at the best of times.

Quite simply because they only work in 2d.
I had two pieces of bookmatched magnum delivered and they should have been reflected patterns, you know how.
Instead they were identical.
I called the designer and explained the problem (3 week lead time for more). I kid you not, she said "why can't you just rotate one of them?"
I had to get her to draw on a piece of paper (over the phone) for her to understand what I meant...
"oh yeah..." she says eventually.

As for returns inside niches... I've stopped trying to explain that one. Now I just keep my offcuts and get on with it....

Haha you’re not using the same tile as me are you Mark?
I’m using the Florim Calacatta Gold, 2 sets.
Unfortunately I had to cut a large part of the design off! There’s no internal wrap.
Because I have to have a joint in the centre
Of the diverter.
All the vein on far left of the slab bad to be removed. Easy wrap, crap effect.
