Hi all, looking for a bit of advice.
Next month I got to big floor jobs, one will be laying 750x750 tiles and the other 800x800 tiles.
What would be the best manual cutter for large format tiles.
What size spacers would you use?
And yes I will be putting a silicone expansion in both jobs so was thinking 5mm spacers?
Any help would be much appreciated

Cutter down to personal choice & budget really but I would opt for a sigma.

Spacer size depends on how accurate the tiles are. British standards says minimum of 3mm on floor but 2mm often used when circumstances are right. 5mm is too big in my opinion. I take it these are porcelain tiles?

So maybe stick with 3mm and have expansion joint in an area out of view.
Yes they are porcelain tiles 750x750.

What are the dimensions and shape of the areas in relation to exspansion joints?

What substrate are you working to?

As above, are the tiles porcelain?

The colour of tiles this size may need to be considered in relation to exspansion if you have any perimetering walls that are large glass windows.
